I’m a spoiled K9. My big sister actually rearranged her whole room to make it more “Laci friendly” as she put it. She even took her bed off it’s nifty cool stilt things that raise it up a few more inches so I can get up on the bed to get some quality shut eye. I even got a new pretty pink collar this morning! I just wish Shawna would stop eating my food before I get a chance to have any!

New Hair Cut

Today was my trip to the groomers. My big sister says that I am getting “the Cocker Cut.” I’m not sure what that means but I hope it looks good on me! Yesterday I got my stitches out. I was NOT excited about that AT ALL! I’m back on medication cause there is a tiny bit of irritation around where I had my surgery and my new vet doesn’t want it to turn into an infection.

So after about 4 hours of trying to get the blog photo’s to not stretch their are only two that are semi decent. So I think what we’re going to have to do for now is to upload them into the post and have a link for you to click on to view them until I can get this whole thing figured out better.

P.S. The “My first night in my new house I accidentally deleted when I was trying to fix the original photo. That post is originally from last Friday morning.

So my first night in my new house was pretty good. I stuck pretty close to my new human sister. I guess I’m just more comfortable with females than I am with guys. Well that is until you bring food into the picture. My new dad brought home some subway and shared a couple of little tiny bites of roast beef with me and Shawna. My new sister says that it’s hard to sleep when there are these eyes watching you from the edge of the bed. I’m not sure what she means by that. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t imagining things and that I really am in a new home.

Ok so when my big sister Jamie goes to work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday I sit in her room and cry until my mom and dad go to bed. Then I go sit beside their bed and cry until they pick me up and put me on the bed! I’ve been doing this for the past few days and it works like a charm. I’ll be honest….I prefer that they put me on the bed but I can get up there by myself if I have to.

I’ve got my big sister trained to take me for a walk every morning at about 7:40ish too. That’s around the time she gets home from work and we go for a nice long walk to investigate my territory. But it does kind of upset me when we come across people while we are walking and they don’t stop to pet me. Am I not cute enough for them or something?!

Next Tuesday is a big day for me. I get to go have my stitches removed AND I’m going to the groomer! I’m a little bit “worried” about the groomer thing. They say that I’m one of those dogs that will “come home with bow’s” in my hair. I may be a girly girl dog but I can honestly say that I don’t ever remember having bows in my hair before.

P.S. My big sister says that she’s gonna have to work on the blog pix on our other computer. The one she’s using right now is “being difficult.” It’s a work in progress. Please keep checking back.

So today was the first day that Shawna and I were alone together for a longer period of time. Mom went to work and it was a whole HOUR before my big sister got home from work. I really don’t like it when they leave cause I’m not sure that they are going to come back. But the upside is that I got a nice long walk out of the deal and my last dosage of my icky pain medication!

FYI – She’s not supposed to be up there!
